You just welcomed a brand new bundle of joy—and guess what? You’re not the only one smitten! Big brother or sister is suddenly obsessed with “their” baby and wants to help with everything. So naturally, when it’s time for newborn photos, you’re thinking, Can we include the siblings? Yes, yes, a million times yes.
As your Wake Forest NC newborn photographer, I specialize in capturing those sweet sibling connections. Whether it’s a proud big brother sneaking a kiss or a sassy big sister showing off her new role, these moments are pure gold and they deserve a permanent spot in your photo album (and let’s be honest—on your living room wall too).
These photos aren’t just about the baby—they're about your growing family. Including older siblings in your newborn session:
Tells the full story of your family
Helps big siblings feel included and important
Creates images that your children will cherish forever (cue the tears when they look back in 10 years)
And don’t stress if your toddler isn’t into sitting still. I’ve seen it all—wiggles, giggles, bribes, and even meltdowns. We go with the flow and keep the session fun. My job is to capture real connection, not stiff poses.
At my cozy studio in Wake Forest, NC, I create a calm, safe, and playful space. Sessions are relaxed, and I always have a few tricks up my sleeve (and some backup Goldfish crackers) to make sure everyone feels comfortable.
We’ll capture:
Snuggly sibling shots on soft blankets
Individual newborn portraits
Family poses where everyone looks like they slept more than 3 hours (thanks to my editing magic)
Want to match outfits? Love neutrals or crave color? I’ve got a full client closet and I’m here to help you style it all.
These early days go fast. Like, blink-and-they’re-in-middle-school fast. If you’re dreaming of newborn photos with siblings in Wake Forest NC, I’d be honored to capture this chapter for you.
